Meet Mrs. Amy Houst | Pre-K4–8 Principal

Mrs. Amy Houst proudly serves as the Principal of our Arlington campus and brings 23 years of experience in education. Her career has included 6 years as an elementary teacher, 11 years as a middle school teacher, 1 year as a K–8 technology teacher, and 1 year as the Campus Interventionist and MTSS Specialist at Trinity Leadership in Arlington.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Missouri State University and a Master’s degree in Teaching from Sacred Heart University. Mrs. Houst also maintains Texas certifications in EC–6 and ESL.

Meet Mr. Keithen Smith | Pre-K4-8 Assistant Principal

Mr. Smith is a native of Vicksburg, MS. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Alcorn State University and later obtained a Master of Education in Educational Technology Leadership from the University of Louisiana Monroe.

Since beginning his teaching career in 2017, Mr. Smith has remained committed to working with all stakeholders to advance student learning outcomes. His experience across multiple districts has equipped him with the skills and vision to achieve great things with Trinity Leadership.

Mr. Smith’s goal is to provide students with the tools they need to become tomorrow’s leaders. He believes that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed academically and socially, and his leadership philosophy is rooted in the conviction that all students can learn.

Feeling called to education, Mr. Smith is passionate about collaborating with students, parents, and teachers to develop well-rounded, critical thinkers who will positively impact the world around them.
