High School Servant Leadership Requirements

Welcome to Trinity Leadership at Cedar Hill Secondary

Grades: 6-12

At Trinity Leadership, we are dedicated to instilling our core values: CHARACTER, GROWTH, SERVANT LEADERSHIP, EMPOWERMENT, and COMMITMENT. Our secondary campus places a strong emphasis on Servant Leadership, encouraging students to become compassionate and engaged members of their communities.

  • During Servant Leadership Week 2026: March 9-13, 2026 (Students are required to participate to receive 40 hours of community service) Servant Leadership  Week is one of the pillars of the Texas Leadership’s community. The Cedar Hill campus is the only school in the district that is afforded this grand opportunity. In order to participate in Servant Week, each student is required to complete and log 80 verifiable hours of service. If the service hours are not met and properly logged and verified, the student will remain in school the week of Servant Leadership. They will not be able to participate in the local service opportunities.  Seniors must have 80 hours of service logged and verified to participate in Servant Leadership week.

  • Seniors may only participate in designated organizations during Servant Leadership Week. An assigned address will be given for service and the student has to perform their service opportunity at the location assigned.

  • If the student decides to participate in other activities during Servant Leadership week, their attendance and academics will be negatively affected.

What qualifies as a service organization?

All volunteer service must be completed with a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which includes those operated for charitable, religious, educational, or scientific purposes. The organization must be federally recognized as a non-profit.

  • Family members cannot sign off on volunteer hours.

  • Babysitting outside of school hours does not qualify as service.

  • All community service must be completed outside of school hours.

How to submit volunteer hours

Seniors must follow this procedure for tracking and submitting service hours:

  1. Obtain the Volunteer Log Form: The form is available in the Class of 2026 Google Classroom or you may pick up a copy in the front office, or the one of the senior classroom (W. Brooks, J. Jennings, S. Hamilton, H. Simpson)
